I was a bit bemused by "I'm not worth protecting", yeah. I've been going on the assumption that Ciel's regressed somehow to being ten and can't remember the last couple of years, but admittedly now I stop to think about it I'm not sure that totally explains everything.

I'm interested to see what's going to happen partially because I have no freaking clue, I guess. Finny's inept love is currently my justification for why this is worth happening though, because by himself, Woobie!Ciel is weird as hell to watch.
